Manage parent and child activities (tbd)

Parent and child relationship are meant to manage a hierarchical relationships between activities. A so-called 'parent' activity will have one or more 'child' activities that are encapsulated within the wider purpose or scope of their parent activity.

The relationship between parent and child is very easily set at child level, where you hav a field called 'parent activity' from which you can look up for the parent activity. Once an activity has been listed as a child, it will also display on the detail page of the parent activity.

Parent activity is an activity that has a start and end date and has related child activities. And only these dates show on the calendar for the parent activity. For the child activity(ies), the whole duration is displayed on the calendar.

Beware: LTA and SNAC are not to be considered as parent activities. There is a field called 'Activity group' that deals with that.
